Innovation is about finding better solutions to ongoing challenges and it is critical to improving GI patient care outcomes. The GI Innovation Series helps you discover the impact that innovation is having on GI care and how you can also participate in this exciting evolution. 

  • Advances in Infection Control in Endoscopy

    Raman Muthusamy, MD, MAS, AGAF, and Adarsh Thaker, MD, review the disinfection process, challenges to removing pathogens and novel solutions such as new sterilization techniques, disposable components and single use devices.

  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship in AI and Digital Health

    Sushovan Guha, MD, PhD, AGAF, and Sravanthi Parasa, MD, talk with innovators who are using AI and other new technologies to drive improvements in clinical practice and GI patient care.

  • Innovation in GI Education

    Drs. Sri Komanduri, MD, MS, FASGE, AGAF, and Christen Dilly, ME, MD, and a panel of GI faculty as they discuss how innovation in technology is changing the way trainees are educated including virtual education initiatives currently underway.
