Obesity is the most prevalent chronic disease in our society, yet many physicians are not trained in how to manage it. The American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) provides education for physicians looking to bridge this gap, offering a certification that signifies you have specialized knowledge and competency in the practice of obesity medicine and care. This type of distinction is becoming even more important as roughly four in ten American adults have obesity, and obesity rates continue to climb nationwide.

While the certification exam has passed for this year, you can start prepping to get certified in 2024.
