Composed of 13 sections, the AGA Institute Council represents the diversity of GI interests and expertise in AGA membership. Together, the council works to showcase high-quality basic science and clinical sessions at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW), while also encouraging early career GI participation and recognition at DDW. The council is also involved in choosing the James W. Freston Conference topic.

Vote today for the next vice chair and nominating committee for the following sections:

    • Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology (CMG)
    • Esophageal, Gastric and Duodenal Disorders (EGD)

    • Liver and Biliary (LB)
    • Neurogastroenterology and Motility (NGM)
    • Pancreatic Disorders (PAN)
    • Pediatric Gastroenterology and Developmental Biology (PGDB)

Please note that you may only vote for positions in sections with which you are affiliated. The deadline to vote is 5 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 29, 2019. If you have any questions, please contact council staff at agacouncil@gastro.org.
