Voting is open from March 15 to April 15, 2024

Make your voice heard by voting for members to fill AGA’s open leadership positions. Elections will open March 15 for the AGA Governing Board open positions, Nominating Committee members and AGA Institute Council Section leadership. Depending on your membership category, you will be eligible to vote for one or more of these leadership categories.

Note: Once you log in, please click the start button to begin the voting process. Once you complete the ballot you will be taken to a page to review your entries prior to submission. Once you submit, you cannot change your responses and your ballot cannot be reset.

AGA Governing Board

Elections are being held for the office of vice president, clinical research councillor, and practice councillor. The AGA Governing Board brings together great ideas, diverse perspectives, and smart partners to create a positive future in GI. Physician and scientist members are eligible to vote.

AGA Nominating Committee

Elections are being held for six nominating committee positions for a one-year term of service. Nominating Committee members select future officers and councillors for the AGA/AGA Institute as well as the members who are placed on the ballot for election to the committee for the following year. Full and senior members as well as early career members in practice and research are eligible to vote.

AGA Institute Council

Elections are being held for the positions of vice chair and nominating committee member. All current AGA members who are affiliated with these sections are eligible to vote. The sections open for election include:

  • Basic & Clinical Intestinal Disorders (BCID)
  • Clinical Practice (CP)
  • Endoscopy, Technology & Imaging (ETI)
  • Immunology, Microbiology & Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IMIBD)
  • Liver & Biliary (LB)
  • Microbiome & Microbial Therapy (MMT)
  • Obesity, Metabolism & Nutrition (OMN)
  • Pediatric Gastroenterology & Developmental Biology (PGDB) (Vice Chair only)
