Virtually join AGA members on Capitol Hill

Join your colleagues on Capitol Hill on Sept. 20 from your office or the comfort of your home.

On Sept. 20, AGA members will be on Capitol Hill advocating for our policy priorities.  AGA members will be meeting with their legislators to urge them to support legislation that will address prior authorization, the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act; legislation to provide patients with protections when subject to step therapy protocols, the Safe Step Act; legislation that would fix the Medicare screening colonoscopy coinsurance problem, the Removing Barriers to Colorectal Cancer Screening Act; and increased funding for the NIH. Additionally, AGA has been urging CMS to not further burden GIs by requiring physicians to inform patients about their colorectal cancer screening coinsurance loophole problem.

You can have your voice heard too by participating in Virtual Advocacy Day. By using AGA’s fast and easy online advocacy platform you can send prewritten letters supporting these issues to your members of Congress and CMS.
