AGA’s first open-access journal, Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CMGH), is still accepting applications for its next editor-in-chief (EIC) – or co-EICs – through Tuesday, May 2. This is a five-year term from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2029, with a six-month transition period beginning on Jan. 1, 2024.
CMGH research addresses important questions that lead to fundamental discoveries in cell biology, immunology, physiology, microbiology, genetics, and neurobiology of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic health and disease. For basic and translational researchers interested in scientific publishing, serving as editor is a prestigious opportunity to serve the GI community while gaining skills that can be used for future positions.
