Subsidize your travel costs to DDW® 2019 with an AGA Abstract Award

Three awards offset the cost of travel to San Diego, California.

Mark your calendar for the abstract awards below, offered by the AGA Research Foundation. Applications for all awards are due by Feb. 15, 2019.

    • AGA Fellow Abstract Award: Travel awards are available to clinical and postdoctoral fellows in North America who are the first or presenting authors of abstracts selected by AGA for presentation at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2019. The top ranked abstract will be selected as Fellow Abstract of the Year and the recipient will receive a $1,000 prize. Fellows must be active members of AGA to apply.
    • AGA Student Abstract Award: Travel awards are available to graduate students, medical students or residents (residents up to year three postgraduate) in North America who will present abstracts selected by AGA for presentation at DDW 2019. The top ranked abstract will be selected as Student Abstract of the Year and the recipient will receive a $1,000 prize. Students must be sponsored by an AGA member to apply.
    • AGA-Moti L. & Kamla Rustgi International Travel Awards: This award provides $750 to two basic, translational or clinical investigators younger than 35 residing outside of North America to support their travel to attend DDW 2019 and present abstracts selected by AGA for presentation at DDW 2019. Active AGA membership is required to apply. Support for this award by Anil Rustgi, MD and Vinod Rustgi, MD, is gratefully acknowledged.
