AGA President Dr. John M. Carethers is thrilled to host the 2023 AGA Presidential Plenary at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) and has put his own spin on this year’s high-impact session.  This year’s plenary will provide historical perspectives, with a fantastic talk planned to spotlight the first Black GIs, and bring us to modern day with discussions on current endoscopy and future approaches for GI cancers.
