Doctors talking together with digital tablets and X-rays.

We’re hosting a focus group to discuss iron deficiency anemia in people who identify as African American/Black this May, in collaboration with the Association of Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists (ABGH).

The focus group is designed to help us and ABGH better understand what patients know about this health problem.

This opportunity is open to patients who meet the following criteria. (Being iron deficient is not a requirement to participate.)

  • Adults 18 years and older who identify as African American/Black.

  • Available for a 1.5 hour Zoom call on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 8-9:30 p.m. EDT/5-6:30 p.m. PDT.

  • Willing to actively participate in sessions.
