Whether you’re a clinician or researcher, your voice is an important part of AGA’s mission to advocate for health care policies that alleviate provider burdens, improve patients’ access to care and advance GI research.
That’s why we invite you to join us for AGA Advocacy Day on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. EDT, where we’ll be virtually meeting with policymakers to advocate for our profession. This is a unique opportunity for you to share your experiences with your federal legislators and show how supporting the needs of gastroenterologists and GI patients impacts the community they represent.
Your participation on this day — no matter how long — is vital to our success. If you can’t attend meetings the entire day, then share your availability during registration and we’ll arrange meetings around your busy schedule.
No prior advocacy experience needed! AGA staff will supply key talking points on a variety of health care policies and provide plenty of training to help you tell your story in a way that inspires and influences your legislators.
Unable to attend the congressional meetings but still want to participate in AGA Advocacy Day? Register to attend our keynote session or connect directly with your elected officials using our Advocacy Action Center.
