Let your voice be heard: vote for the next AGA Institute Council

The election site is open now through March 29, 2019.

The AGA Institute Council, composed of 13 sections, is at the forefront of program planning for Digestive Disease Week® (DDW). From promoting early career GI participation and recognition to selecting abstracts for oral and poster presentation at DDW, section leaders have the unique opportunity to shape DDW for years to come. Council leaders are also in charge of clinical and basic science initiatives and are heavily involved in choosing the James W. Freston Conference topic.

Seven sections are up for elections this year. Vote now for the next vice chair and nominating committee members in the following sections:

    • Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology (CMG)
    • Esophageal, Gastric and Duodenal Disorders (EGD)
    • Gastrointestinal Oncology (GIONC)
    • Liver and Biliary (LB)
    • Neurogastroenterology and Motility (NGM)
    • Pancreatic Disorders (PAN)
    • Pediatric Gastroenterology and Developmental Biology (PGDB)

The election site will accept votes through Friday, March 29, 2019. If you have any questions, please contact council staff at [email protected].
