AGA is excited to announce the launch of its newest mobile app  — AGA Career Compass (available on the App Store and Google Play), helping fellows in training and postdoctoral fellows navigate their GI career paths. The only app of its kind in GI, AGA Career Compass is an exclusive AGA member-only benefit, designed to guide trainees through each career stage with resources and mentorship to a career they’ll love.

The new app offers easily accessible career planning, award-winning leadership training, thoughtful mentor-mentee matching and premiere clinical resources for where you’re at now and where you want to go in your career.

Here’s a list of the app’s main features:

  • Career Planning

Carefully curated resources from AGA based on the stage of training and career interests to simplify career development and planning.

  • Leadership Training

On-demand education focused on building leadership skills, a core medical competency, in varying formats to prepare for future responsibilities.

  • Mentor Matching

Opportunities to connect with leaders for advice outside of an academic training program through Connections Corner, a modern take on the mentor-mentee relationship, matching mentees and mentors based on shared interests, experiences and needs.

  • Clinical Resources

A single location for trusted AGA early career resources — like guidelines, journal articles, meeting presentations and more — to reinforce or expand on formal training.

Are you interested in becoming a mentor in the Connections Corner feature of AGA Career Compass? AGA members at least five years out of training can apply.

AGA Career Compass is now available on the Apple Store and on Google Play.
