Before you go: Last minute DDW® 2019 reminders

DDW® kicks off on Saturday. Here are tips and tricks to remember before the start of the meeting.

In the days leading up to Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2019 in San Diego, California, there’s lots to do — pack, travel and plan your schedule. Here are a few key reminders so you are organized and get the best experience on-site.

    • Download the DDW Mobile App
    • The free app is available for Apple and Android devices, and is your go-to planning tool for the meeting. If you have an iOS device, you will need to know your Apple ID and password to download the app, even though it’s free. You can use the online planner on your laptop and sync the work you’ve done there to the app (must log in to both).
    • Miss a session? Find it on DDW On Demand
    • As an attendee, you have online access to session capture of non-ticketed presentations in DDW On Demand (approximately 450 hours). Sessions should be available starting 24 hours after the presentation. To access DDW On Demand online, go to watch.ondemand.org/ddwlogin and enter your badge number and last name used to register for DDW 2019. You will be prompted to create a password and you will not need your badge number after you are verified. On subsequent viewings, visit DDW.OnDemand.org, click Log In, and enter your username (email) and password.
    • Follow insights with #DDW19
    • The official hashtag allows you to follow your peer’s insights on social media. The most used channel during DDW is Twitter and you can access it right through the mobile app. Get important reminders, news and tips from both @AmerGastroAssn and @DDWMeeting
    • Catch up on the day’s news by reading DDW News
    • The blog is the online home of DDW News and is updated frequently with cutting-edge news each day of the meeting. At the convention center, pick up a daily print edition of the newspaper, which will include an Exhibit Guide and Program section.
    • Have your DDW badge handy
    • You will need your badge to access scientific sessions, the Poster Hall and Exhibit Hall in the convention center, and it also gives you the credentials to log into the DDW Mobile App, ePosters, and the DDW On Demand access and claim CME websites. In many instances, your login credentials will need to be entered exactly as you did in the DDW registration system.

You can find additional planning information on the DDW website. See you in sunny San Diego!
