AGA and Pfizer are thrilled to launch the inaugural AGA-Pfizer Beacon of Hope Awards for Gender and Health Equity. These prestigious awards will honor three early to mid-career women physicians, scientists, and advanced practice providers (APPs) in the field of digestive diseases who have made significant contributions to advancing gender and health equity for patients and/or health care providers.

Why Apply?

  • Recognition: Awardees will receive a crystal award presented at the AGA Beacons of Hope Women’s Luncheon during Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) on Monday, May 5, 2025.
  • Visibility: Recipients will be celebrated through various AGA media channels, including press releases, social media, and articles in AGA publications.
  • Inspiration: Highlighting the achievements of these leaders will inspire others in the field to emulate their exemplary actions.

Eligibility

The awards are available for AGA members who are early to mid-career women physicians, scientists, and advanced practice providers in gastroenterology who have made significant contributions to advancing gender and health equity.
