Gastroenterology, AGA’s flagship journal, received an Impact Factor of 25.1. The journal maintains its position among an elite group of journals focused on publishing original research, spanning basic to clinical, in our field. Editors-in-chief Paul Moayyedi, MD, PhD, and David S. Weinberg, MD, MSc, remark, “We thank our authors, reviewers, board of editors and editorial board for their outstanding work. We are pleased that Gastro continues to be a leading journal in the field.”
Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CGH) received an Impact Factor of 12.0, continuing as the field’s top exclusively clinically oriented journal. Charles J. Kahi, MD, editor-in-chief of CGH, states, “Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology continues to be a premier clinical GI journal. We thank authors for entrusting us with their work, reviewers for their high-quality peer reviews, the editorial team, and editors for their relentless work, and above all our readers. We look forward to carrying on this journey together.”
Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CMGH), AGA’s basic and translational open-access journal maintained a strong position in the field with an impact factor of 7.4. Current editors-in-chief Michele Battle, PhD, and Jonathan Katz, MD, note, “The journal’s sustained influence underscores its crucial role in disseminating discoveries, from fundamental biological insights to their translation to human health. We thank our authors for their dedication to cutting-edge research and our readers for their consistent engagement, both of which are critical for CMGH’s success.”
Techniques and Innovations in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (TIGE), AGA’s quarterly journal that focuses on providing a comprehensive overview of clinical conditions and GI endoscopic procedures, has received an Impact Factor of 0.9. Editor-in-chief Vinay Chandrasekhara, MD, AGAF, FASGE, commented, “We are excited to see the continued impact TIGE is having on disseminating the latest techniques and innovations in gastrointestinal endoscopy. This is a reflection of the efforts by our authors, reviewers, international board of editors, and editorial team and we are eager to see the continued growth of the journal to spread best practices globally.”
AGA’s newest broad-based, open-access journal, Gastro Hep Advances, is expected to receive its inaugural impact factor in Fall 2025 upon a refresh of this year’s Journal Citation Reports.
AGA congratulates and thanks all boards of editors for their efforts and leadership. We also thank our authors, reviewers, and readers for their continued support of AGA’s journals.
