Don’t forget to review, affirm and — if necessary — dispute data reported over the past year through the national disclosure program, Open Payments.

The legislation authorizing Open Payments requires that pharmaceutical and medical device companies annually report to CMS their payments or transfers of value for research, meals, travel, gifts, speaking fees and more made to physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses and teaching hospitals.

Take a look at your reported data before the review period closes on May 15.

All providers have an opportunity to review their data to make sure it’s accurate before it is made available in the OpenPaymentsData.CMS.gov on June 30, 2024.

Need to dispute your data?

To learn how to review and dispute your data, check out the review and dispute tutorial video, which provides an overview of how the process works for you as a covered recipient.
