In the month of April, the AGA Research Foundation asked for your help to fund one additional investigator with an AGA Research Scholar Award before the 2023 AGA awards class are announced at Digestive Disease Week®. The AGA Research Scholar Award is AGA’s flagship career development award for keeping early career faculty in academic medical research.
While we didn’t make our goal, we did raise additional funds to support researchers through the AGA Research Endowment fund.

At a time when we are on the brink of major scientific breakthroughs, the AGA Research Foundation remains committed to funding GI investigators. Although there is still more work ahead, we know we can move forward with the help of AGA members.
