As the most prestigious meeting for GI professionals, there’s no better place to showcase your findings than Digestive Disease Week® (DDW). By submitting an abstract for consideration at DDW 2022, you’ll contribute your voice to the conversations that propel progress and gain valuable feedback from peers.

Don’t miss this opportunity to present your research to an audience of forward-thinking leaders and gain exposure on a global scale. In addition to presentation, accepted abstracts will be published in online supplements to Gastroenterology or GIE: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, two of the top GI journals in the field. The deadline to submit an abstract is Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at 21:00 Eastern time (UTC -5).

Please be advised that all DDW attendees and presenters will be required to provide proof of COVID vaccination to attend. Authors unable to attend DDW in San Diego can select the ePoster only presentation option, which will be considered for electronic presentation at the DDW ePosters site.

AGA Abstract Descriptors

In an effort to help match your abstract(s) to the best descriptor for submission, the AGA Institute Council has provided an expanded descriptor document as to what the abstract review committee is looking for in submitted abstracts. Please use this to submit your abstract to the most appropriate section and descriptor. Featured new descriptors include:

  • COVID and Clinical Practice
