New ulcerative colitis patient education now available

The AGA GI Patient Center has released a new resource to support your patients with ulcerative colitis. It is available in both English and Spanish.

Affecting the colon and rectum by causing symptoms such as severe belly pain and cramps, ulcerative colitis is more likely to develop in patient age groups of 15 to 30 and older than 60 years old. To assist your patients, the AGA GI Patient Center has curated a patient education page for this inflammatory bowel disease for you to share directly with your patients to help alleviate their concerns and prepare them for their visit.
