Reducing Incidence Mortality in CRC BANNER

Updated guidelines for combating colorectal cancer (CRC) now recommend that screenings begin at age 45. However, despite CRC being the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., barriers such as potential high insurance co-pays and deductibles as well as poor access to health care keep screenings rates low.

New course will provide you with tools to improve screening rates

AGA’s Colorectal Cancer: Screening to Save Lives is designed to help gastroenterologists increase screening among newly recommended age groups and high-risk populations. This multimodal education includes editorials, reference guides, podcasts and quizzes to provide clinicians with the right information and tools to improve screening rates.

By taking this course, you will:

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of new guidelines.
  • Be able to evaluate current and emerging CRC screening products.
  • Possess effective communication strategies for patients in newly eligible and high-risk categories.
