Exciting things are happening in GI! AGA recently announced the first investment of the GI Opportunity Fund is Virgo Surgical Video Solutions, located in Carlsbad, California. Virgo is an early-stage GI company whose development accelerated after participating in the 2018 AGA Shark Tank competition. Virgo provides GIs, clinical trial sponsors and trial site investigators with AI-fueled, always-on endoscopic procedure recording and patient recruitment tools for clinical trials in gastroenterology.
