We know resources are tight, which is why we are pleased to announce applications are now open for the AGA abstract awards.
These awards help offset travel costs for students, fellows and international AGA members presenting an AGA-accepted abstract at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2020 in Chicago, Illinois.

Thirteen $500 travel awards are available to clinical and postdoctoral fellows in North America. The top scoring abstract will be designated the Fellow Abstract of the Year and receive a $1,000 award. AGA gratefully acknowledges Rifat Pamukcu, MD, FAIMBE, for his generous support of this program.
Thirteen $500 travel awards will support graduate students, medical students or medical residents (up to postgraduate year three) at institutions in North America. The top scoring abstract will be designated the Student Abstract of the Year and receive a $1,000 award.
Two $750 awards will be given to basic, translational or clinical investigators no more than 35 years old who are residing outside of North America. Applicants must hold an MD, PhD or equivalent (e.g., MB, ChB, MBBS, DO). AGA gratefully acknowledges Anil Rustgi, MD, and Vinod Rustgi, MD, for their support of this generous program.
