AGA makes it a priority to champion career advancement for women in GI. As part of our efforts to support, empower and amplify women, AGA hosted its first two Women in GI regional workshops last weekend at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and NYU Langone Health in New York, New York. The events brought together women across the nation with the goal to help grow personal and professional connections, support career development and advance gender equity in the field of GI.
The workshop agendas included a reception with networking opportunities and sessions to discuss leadership, mentorship, wellness and career advancement led by course directors and faculty.
