The latest Journal Impact Factors™ have been announced and AGA’s journals maintained their strong standing in the GI and hepatology category.
- Gastroenterology - 25.7
- Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CGH) - 11.6
- Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CMGH) - 7.1
- Techniques and Innovations in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (TIGE) - 1.2
Thank you to all our journal editors, reviewers, authors and readers. Because of you, we have some exciting news to celebrate.
- Gastroenterology generated more than 90,000 total citations (by far the most citations among all GI/hep journals) during 2023.
- CGH remains in the top 10 among all GI/hep journals and a leading clinical journal in our field.
- CMGH’s ranking has increased from #19 to #15 for all GI/hep journals. Since its launch in 2015, CMGH has cemented its position as a leading journal for basic and translational research in our field.
- Our newest journal, Gastro Hep Advances (GHA), is still too young to receive an impact factor but we are excited to announce that it was accepted for indexing in PubMed Central. This means that all GHA articles will now appear in PubMed search results.
