The AGA Institute Council is inviting all AGA members to submit novel topic proposals for the 2020 James W. Freston Conference. Proposals can cover all areas of gastroenterology, in addition to suggestions for new speakers and innovative conference formats. This is a unique opportunity to help determine the topic of this 1.5-day conference and a chance to serve as conference chair if your topic is selected.

The deadline for submissions is July 10. Completed proposals should be sent to agacouncil@gastro.org.

Since 2008, the Freston Conference has been a popular forum for presenting cutting-edge science and research from experts in numerous disease areas. The 2019 Freston Conference will examine how clinicians and allied health professionals can enhance GI health and treat disorders through diet and nutrition management. If you haven’t taken time to register, save $100 by registering by July 31. Freston provides faculty and attendees with an intimate environment to share findings and foster collaboration.

Funding for the conference is provided by an educational endowment from Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc.
