This month’s AGA Community Virtual Case Conference presents a conundrum in a case of cholangiocarcinoma, presented by Sujaata Dwadasi, MD, from the University of Chicago.

Her patient has a history of primary sclerosing cholangitis and ulcerative colitis (UC) presented to the gastroenterology clinic with worsening fatigue.

“During this visit, he was in clinical remission in regards to his UC. He has been on vedolizumab for the last one year, and currently on an every 4-week dosing. Workup for his new fatigue included basic labs, fecal calprotectin (FCP), MRCP (for PSC surveillance), serum CEA and serum CA 19-9.”

Join the community Tuesday, May 23, when Dr. Dwadasi will share the full case details and host a roundtable discussion on management of this patient during chemotherapy.

Log in to AGA Community and start following the Case Conference.

We’re seeking submissions from trainees for the next Case Conference presentation.

Along with bragging rights, trainees who present receive a $25 Amazon gift card and can add an online publication to their CV during a time of paused training and distance learning.

AGA trainee members can submit presentations today to be considered.
